Although I'm not really into this whole dance,club,hiphop trend, I enjoy the fact that these songs mix well into a set of good up-tempo music. These two below are some of the sicker dancey rap songs out right now that I can always blend w/some hot Starpoint or Cherelle. Although this stuff is starting to verge on C&C Music Factory... Artists, keep that in mind, the people cant dance at 140bps!

Christian Rich is a duo hailing from Chicago who are separating themselves from the slew of genre-bouncing dance-hiphop-scarf wearing-shutter shade rocking groups that have popped up over the past few months. The reason? They are actually talented, producing their own records and not recycling old hits and samples. Their single Famous Girl will be getting heavy rotation by me this week in the club, and I expect it to start popping off soon. 33hz are SICK

Capturing everything that groups like Justice, MSTRKRFT, Chromeo and other indi-dance troups attempt, while still maintaining seriously original vocals and song structure, 33hz is the sickest group at the moment. Capitalizing off the current craze of club oriented remixes, they have done remix work for multiple bands around the world including The Teenagers and Architecture in Helsinki. Don't mistake these guys for just another indi-dance band from Brooklyn, they can actually sing and don't rely solely on a thumping kick drum and hand claps to make their music move you.

How can anyone deny that the sickest era/period/location of rap was LA between 1992 & 1996. I often still support this era by creasing my khaki's and throwing up dubs whenever I get the chance.
